like with anything...if you spend enough time doing it you
tend to get good at it, and you learn a few shortcuts to make
your life easier. Having spent twenty plus years solving electrical,
cooling, and fuel related problems on all types of antique
and classic vehicles, I have "earned" a few tech tips that
I want to share with you. Check back

Getting head gaskets placed correctly can sometimes be pretty trickly. One solution is to cut the top off of an old head bolt set then file screwdriver slots in the end of the bolts. Using the slotted bolt set allows you to get the head and gasket set correctly, with that done you can remove your alignment bolts and replace them with the correct ones.
